This post will describe the updated upload process, metadata editing process and the addition of a “Draft” state for all assets.

We recently updated the website and this post details the updated upload process, metadata editing, and the addition of a “Draft” state for all assets.

Upload

Upload speeds should now fully utilize your internet connection, offering faster performance. To ensure the best possible speed, select an upload server location closest to your geographic location.

The new upload page has been simplified, requesting only essential information.

Once a file is selected, the Start Upload button will become active. Clicking this button initiates the upload, and processing will begin automatically upon completion.

Draft State

After an asset is uploaded, it will be placed in a “Draft” state.

In this state, the asset is only visible to its owner, allowing them to modify the metadata before publishing.

Once published, the asset will function as it did previously: public assets are visible in the public gallery, while private and password-protected assets remain accessible only with the direct URL.

Metadata Details Editing

You can now edit asset details from two locations within the interface:

1. Use the Edit button from the asset list,

2. From the Asset Info side menu, click the three dots and select Edit Asset Details option.

Both options will lead you to the Asset Details Editor side menu, which contains all the options previously found on the old upload page.
